Show me who you love and I will show you who you are.
Surrounded by family and friends on a wooden pavilion overlooking a volcano in the jungles of Costa Rica, Sharon Michelle Dewar and Alexander Nicholas Yates will wed at 4pm on Friday, March 23rd, 2007 at the Lost Iguana Resort.
A simple ceremony, uncomplicated by tradition and formality, needs only the blessings and well wishes from loved ones to make this occasion truly special. No amount of currency can ever be spent as wisely as time with the people who turn moments into memories worth cherishing for a lifetime. Your presence will truly be a gift we’ll cherish forever.
After exchanging vows and signatures to legally seal the deal, everyone is encouraged to join the happy couple for photos before adjourning for dinner at the Blue Hibiscus Restaurant, just a stone’s throw from the wedding pavilion, all at the Lost Iguana Resort.

Wedding Attire in Costa Rica - Clothing Optional !
Costa Rica is a colorful, beautiful and relaxing country with no dress code. Therefore, we encourage you to dress accordingly - wear something relaxing and completely comfortable; dress in attire that brings out your colorful personality.
In fact, it's clothing optional ! We don't care! We have no color palette. There will be no tuxes, no bridesmaid dresses, nor any rules on what to wear. Frankly, it'll be fashion anarchy.
But we do have rules on what you cannot wear! Men cannot wear dress shoes, ties, cumberbunds, or jackets. Women cannot wear nylons, sweaters, corsets, or even bustles. (No bustles unless you use expressions like "Heavens to Betsy, I've got the vapors!")
In case you're wondering...
Bride's Dress - Silky, creamy Nicole Miller floor length gown & heels. (Flips flops will come out during the reception!)
Groom's Attire - Short sleeve silk shirt, linen slacks, flip flops, and a big 'ol smile!
Just think like Fonzie from "Happy Days" and be cool! Costa Rica is very warm and humid - flip flops, shorts, and muumuus are all fine by us!
