Several of our friends are planning to come to Costa Rica as solo travelers. If you are coming down single, want to stay at the Lost Iguana Resort, and want to help defray costs by sharing a room with one of our trusted friends or family members also traveling solo -- please let us know.

Right now, one of my best girl friends is looking to share a room with another girl. She just so happens to also get a 20 percent travel agent discount. BONUS! If you want to double up, let me know and we'll get it arranged!

Alex and I are VERY excited to have our flights booked! We're one step closer to Costa Rica (and Panama!) Yea!
For those of you who are hoping to travel down to Costa Rica with us, here's our flight plan:
We are departing San Diego on Sat. March 17 (St. Pattie's Day -- YES, Alex will probably be wearing a kilt!) at 11:35 a.m. Continental Airlines Flight 374, connecting in Houston, TX. We depart Houston at 5:55 p.m. on Continental Airlines Flight 1499. We arrive in San Jose, Costa Rica at 8:40 p.m.

We will be staying the night in San Jose at a trusty little hostel we stayed at before called Tranquilo Backpackers Hostel. It's cheap, but clean, private rooms, hot showers and locks on doors. I think it runs about 20 a night for private room.

We plan to rendezvous with Laurie at the hostel and head up to La Fortuna the next morning -- mode of transport to be determined. We will either rent a car from Budget, or take a tourist shuttle bus.

Alex has reserved 10 rooms at the hostel for Saturday night (March 17), so anyone else wants to fly down with us, or meet us there, please let us know.
